We are partnering with a listed AI infrastructure and compute platform firm that is seeking an experienced and execution-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all finance, capital markets, and compliance functions. Based in Singapore, this role carries global responsibility across multiple jurisdictions and partners closely with the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team to support rapid growth, international expansion, and potential capital market activities (including M&A and future public offerings).
Job Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on capital allocation, ROI, profitability, and business model evolution.
- Support corporate strategy, expansion planning, and inorganic growth initiatives.
FP&A and Financial Operations
- Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling across global operations.
- Build scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support high-growth and international expansion.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
Accounting, Audit & Internal Controls
- Oversee global accounting, consolidation, revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Manage multi-country audits across Asia-Pacific, the U.S., and other regions.
Capital Markets & Investor Relations
- Lead equity and debt fundraising, strategic financing, and banking relationships.
- Prepare board materials, investor updates, and financial disclosures.
- Oversee readiness and execution for potential U.S. capital market activities, including SEC-related filings (e.g. 20-F, 6-K, F-1/F-3).
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, working capital, and FX exposure.
- Optimize capital structure and ensure liquidity across global entities.
Compliance, Governance & Tax
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
- Partner with external advisors on corporate structuring, cross-border transactions, and tax planning.
- Support governance requirements in collaboration with the Board and Corporate Secretary.
Finance Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global finance organization.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, automation, and data platforms.
- Develop talent, succession planning, and strong finance leadership bench.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader within technology, infrastructure, or high-growth global companies.
- Strong background in US GAAP, multi-entity consolidation, and cross-border finance.
- Demonstrated experience in capital raising, investor relations, and capital markets activities.
- Exposure to IPO readiness and U.S. regulatory reporting preferred.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability.
- Experience managing global teams and operating across multiple jurisdictions.
